We respect your time: a clear process, honest feedback, fast decisions.
Electronics design to aerospace standards is brutally hard. That’s exactly why it matters. At Quilter, we’re applying reinforcement learning and physics simulation to solve PCB layout the right way—from first principles, not shortcuts.
This is demanding work. It takes intensity, rigor, and persistence. In return, you get rapid growth, meaningful impact, and the chance to reshape how every piece of modern hardware gets designed.
PCB layout has long been the bottleneck in hardware. Manual routing takes weeks. Traditional autorouters fail to complete. Traditional tools grew around this bottleneck. Quilter is working to remove it.
We’re engineers and researchers from MIT, Johns Hopkins APL, and NASA. We’re here because this problem is too important to leave unsolved.
Sergiy, our founder, came from SpaceX where PCB bottlenecks were blocking his Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy launches.
Technical leadership to Principal Engineer without forcing a management path
Design docs and RFCs for transparent, durable decisions
Clear leveling and regular calibration
Staff engineers drive technology strategy while staying hands-on
Our benefits are designed for clarity and impact:
We've figured out the collaboration patterns that actually work. The team gets together in LA regularly.
Currently, we are hiring primarily within the US, with occasional exceptions for exceptional talent. At this time, Quilter is unable to provide visa sponsorship.
Perfect hardware is too late hardware. The leaders redefining R&D move fast, build often, and learn in real time. Everyone else is forced to follow.
